KITTY PILGRIM worked as a journalist and correspondent for 24 years for CNN, her assignments taking her to Russia, China, Venezuela, Cuba, the Middle East, Korea and South Africa. Now her characters, wealthy archeologist John Sinclair and young oceanographer Cordelia Stapleton, roam the globe in tales of high adventure. The first,The Explorer's Code, appeared in 2011, the second, The Stolen Chalice, in 2012. For her books, Pilgrim travels to glamorous and exciting locations, using the same methods she employed as a reporter to photograph and record her impressions before writing. She conducts interviews with renowned scientists and explorers to include new and accurate information for her readers. Kitty Pilgrim is also a full member of the historic Explorer's Club of New York.
