Nichole Bernier received her master's degree from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism, and is one of the founders of the literary blog Beyond the Margins. She has written for magazines, including Elle, Self, Health, and Men's Journal, and is presently a freelance writer and a contributing editor with Conde Nast Traveler magazine. In her first novel, The Unfinished Work of Elizabeth D., a woman inherits her deceased friend's lifelong diaries, whose contents challenge her deepest beliefs about friendship, fidelity and loyalty. Nichole lives west of Boston with her husband and five children.
