Rob Benchley is a local photographer and has contributed to many Nantucket publications since 1983 including the Inquirer and Mirror, the Nantucket Beacon, and the Nantucket Independent. His book credits include Voices of the Village (2002), Keeping the Light: The Epic Move and Preservation of Nantucket’s Sankaty Head Lighthouse (2008), and Scallop Season: A Nantucket Chronicle (2002).
