Robert Cocuzzo (he/him/his) is the author of Tracking the Wild Coomba, which chronicles the life and adventures of the late legendary extreme skier Doug Coombs, and The Road to San Donato: Fathers, Sons, and Cycling Across Italy. Cocuzzo is also the editor of Nantucket Magazine and a frequent contributor to Town & Country, Boston Common, Outside, Esquire, and Departures. Born and brought up in the Boston area, Cocuzzo studied English and History at the College of the Holy Cross and St. Andrews University before becoming a US Coast Guard-certified charter boat captain on Nantucket. In 2009, Cocuzzo traded in rod and reel for pen and ink, and he hasn’t looked back since.
