Rosalyn W. Berne is on the faculty of the University of Virginia where she teaches courses in Engineering Ethics and New Reproductive Technologies. She author of Waiting in the Silence, a Nantucket-inspired novel, a non-fiction work called, When the Horses Whisper, and two academic books.
