Terry Norton and her two brothers were summer visitors to Nantucket from 1958 to 2006 at which time, she made the island her home. She now lives with her cat and dog and she works for the Town of Nantucket.

She is a veteran of the United States Air Force, where she served for ten years during the Cold War and was discharged as a Staff Sergeant. While living in Virginia from 1989 to 2006, she was a member of a Civil War Living History reenactment unit. Her experiences and knowledge gained from those years in the military as well as having grown up at the bottom end of two brothers have ben woven into her character of her first novel Lady in Blue.

(Nom de plume) Theresa Lindsay is a graduate of Mary Washington College, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in English and journalism. She is also a veteran of the United States Air Force, where she served for ten years during the Cold War and was discharged as a Staff Sergeant.
