Executive Director, Nantucket Book Foundation

Maddie (she/her/hers) served for many years as Chairman of the Board of the Ulster County (NY) Pregnancy Support Center and the Pregnancy Resource Clinic of North Penn (PA). Prior to her appointment with the Nantucket Book Foundation, Maddie worked for Barnes & Noble, Inc., beginning in 1999 as a Community Relations Manager in North Wales, PA, and spending the last ten years as a Regional and then National Business Development Manager specializing in sales training. She was hired to be the first executive director of the Nantucket Book Foundation in 2016, after serving for two years as Author Liaison for the Nantucket Book Festival. Maddie has a degree in English from the University of Rochester, where she earned an even more valuable prize, her husband Rich. She firmly believes that reading saved her life.
