Shantaw (she/her/hers) is the Town of Nantucket's Director of Culture and Tourism. Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Shantaw moved to Nantucket with her family when she was still in school. She graduated from Nantucket High School, and attended Bridgewater State College. She later co-created a beauty-products business called Supple Sirens Bath & Body.
