Alondra Barragan is a 2024 Nantucket High School graduate that will be attending Wheaton college in the fall. They are a first-generation Mexican-American individual who plans to be an elementary teacher that teaches either art or Spanish/ESL, especially since they were a former ESL student in elementary school. They enjoy creative writing and reading books of any genre that catches their eye, especially graphic novels, and hope to possibly be an artist for a comic or graphic novel and perhaps publish their own books. They are a passionate artist and learner, and especially a passionate activist.
