Kristen Mulvihill

Kristen Mulvihill has been a fashion and photography editor at various women's magazines, includingMademoiselle, Marie Claire and Self. Most recently, she was the photography director of Cosmopolitanmagazine. She is also a painter and illustrator. She grew up in New England, graduated from Brown University, and lives in New York with her husband, David Rohde. With him, she co-authored A Rope and a Prayer: A Kidnapping From Two Sides, in which, in alternating chapters, David describes his kidnapping by the Taliban, his captivity, and eventual escape, and Kristen recounts her work with government and media officials to keep David alive and secure his release.
