Paul Harding is an American musician and author, best known for his debut novel Tinkers, which won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the 2010 PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize among other honors. He is currently the director of the Creative Writing and Literature MFA program at Stony Brook Southampton, as well as Interim Associate Provost of SUNY-Stony Brook's Lichtenstein Center. His most recent novel, This Other Eden, was shortlisted for the Booker Prize and a finalist for the National Book Award.
